Legal — TarotBot Observatory

1. Data We Display

This dashboard is a public, read-only mirror of aggregated reading activity from the TarotBot Discord bot. We display:

Total count of unique users who have cast a reading.
Total count of readings performed.
Frequency of cards drawn (anonymized — no user attribution).
Frequency of spread types used (anonymized).
The 50 most recent readings (with reading_id and timestamp).

2. Privacy

We do not store any new personal data through this dashboard. No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels.

Discord usernames and questions are never displayed on this public dashboard. On private deployments (admin-only), name censoring is applied by default.

2b. Identity Protection

The following safeguards are enforced client-side on every render:

Discord user IDs are never rendered. The 18-digit snowflake in user_id is treated as private — it never appears as text in the DOM.
Reading rows show only the tarot reading timestamp (the portion after _ in reading_id). The Discord user prefix is dropped.
Avatars are deterministically generated from a hash of the hidden user_id. No Discord API call is made, and the avatar cannot be reversed to the original snowflake.
User questions are replaced with a generic placeholder — never rendered, not even in tooltips or attributes.
In the Recent Readings list, only the first card name from each reading is shown as a preview (with a +N more suffix when additional cards were drawn). The full cards array is never enumerated row-by-row. Card names are not personally identifying — the safeguard exists to keep the list scannable and respectful.

3. Restrictions of Use

Do not scrape this dashboard for commercial purposes.
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or stress-test the underlying Firestore rules.
Do not use the displayed data to identify, harass, or contact any Discord user.
Be excellent to each other.

4. Third Parties

This dashboard is hosted on Firebase Hosting by Google LLC. Data is fetched from Cloud Firestore. Fonts by Google Fonts. Icons by Font Awesome.

Tarot readings displayed on this dashboard are for entertainment and reflection only. They are not financial, medical, legal, or psychological advice. The cards do not predict the future. Use your own judgment. Be kind to yourself.
